Mrs. Nazia Alfred Fernandes is a dedicated and accomplished nursing professional with over 25years of experienced in clinical practice, education and research. Driven by passion for improving patient care through innovation and advancements in health care, she boast a strong academic background. She holds a Diploma in General Nursing, Diploma in Midwifery Bachelor of Science in Nursing(BSN) from Ziauddin University Karachi. His commitment to continuous learning is further demonstrated by his professional certification.

Mrs. Nazias nursing career began in 1996 and Served Holy Family Hospital as RN and RM & where she gained valuable clinical experience and took the hold of Nursing Supervisor. She then transitioned to St. Michaels Convent School Karachi1998 to 1999 honing her skills as a registered nurse for one year, in 2000 to 2004 then she transitioned to National Medical Centre Hospital and Served as Scrub Nurse in operation theater assisted variety of surgeries including Cardiac and Brain Surgeries, In 2004 to 2005 transitioned to an international hospital King of Saudi Arabia Ministry of health where she worked as a Staff Nurse, In 2006 to 2007 transitioned to Holy Family Hospital Karachi, she took on role of Operation heater Supervisor,

In 2007 to 2013, She then transitioned to Orthopedic & Medical Institute Hospital (OMI) served as a scrub nurse, In 2013 to 2019 worked for St. Michaels Convent School Karachi as school nurse, In 2015 to 2019 She then transitioned to Orthopedic & Medical Institute Hospital (OMI) served as Senior scrub nurse.

In 2019 to 2022 She then transitioned to Holy Family Hospital took the role of Hospital Acting Nursing Director., Since 2022, Mrs. Nazia has dedicated herself to the academic realm, joining Iqra University Nursing college as a lecturer,

Mrs. Nazia is a profile researcher, actively contributing to the advancement of nursing knowledge, she has authored two peer-reviewed articles on diverse nursing topics, published in nationally and internationally acclaimed, impact factor journals, currently, she is actively involved in ongoing research projects focused on education in nursing, further solidifying his commitment to pushing the boundaries of nursing knowledge.

Dr. Muhammad Shahnawaz Adil

Dr. Muhammad Shahnawaz Adil is an Associate Professor of Leadership and Strategic Management at Iqra University, Karachi. He holds more than 17 years of full-time university teaching, research, mentorship, and graduate thesis supervision experience. Additionally, he has been serving as the Cluster Head (Management) since January 2020 at the Main Campus. He is currently a member of the advisory and review boards of 18 national and international scholarly journals.

He has presented various research ideas at international conferences abroad and has published over 25 research papers in national and international journals with 700+ Google citations. He has also authored a monograph on Leadership and Strategy published in Germany. He is an HEC-approved PhD supervisor and five Ph.D. candidates are going to complete their doctoral thesis under his sole supervision. In addition to supervising several industrial projects, 32 MPhil and hundreds of MBA students have successfully passed their research thesis in the Management discipline under his sole supervision. His research interests include the dark side of leadership, workplace mistreatment, multilevel modeling, and creative performance in higher education. He completed a ten-day comprehensive Training of Trainers conducted by Sindh HEC in May 2023.

Dr. Shahnawaz earned his Ph.D. degree in Management from an AACSB and AMBA-accredited business school of Malaysia in 2021. Earlier, he received his MPhil from Iqra University, a ‘triple-crown’ (AACSB, AMBA, and EQUIS-accredited) MBA from Newcastle University (UK), Postgraduate Diploma from Stratford College London (UK), and B.Sc. (Honours) with Distinction from London Metropolitan University, UK. He has secured seven consecutive distinctions in his academic career and has clinched First Class First Position at Sindh Board of Technical Education. He has been associated with Iqra University as a permanent faculty member in the Department of Business Administration since August 2008. His main hobbies include horse-riding, playing scrabble, cooking, bird-farming, and long driving.
